1. Why are you studying inequality?
Inequality is a diverse topic: it concerns economic, social, political, and global aspects. These different facets of inequality, and the additional question of when inequality is unjust or perceived as unjust, make the topic very exciting for me.
2. What are you working on?
In my research, I am interested in fiscal policy and its macroeconomic and distributional implications. In a current research project, I am investigating how sovereign debt crises arise and how sovereign debt crises interact with economic inequality and political economic factors.
3. How did you end up here?
Because of the diversity of perspectives on inequality – that's what appealed most to me about the Cluster.
4. Dream research project?
The projects I am currently working on and the one that are on my research agenda!
