This event is part of an event series „Methods Hub Training“.
Cluster members have access to the methods labs at departments which are affiliated to the Cluster. In this info event, we will present all six labs currently affiliated with the cluster. We will give you information about all the resources the Labs offer, the terms of use and the contact persons.
The LakeLab (directed by Prof. Urs Fischbacher) for conducting experiments in the research area of Perceptions. Urs Fischbacher is the developers of zTree, the Zurich Toolbox for Readymade Economic Experiments. The SurveyLab (directed by Prof. Thomas Hinz) for planning and implementing web- and telephone-based surveys. The Center for Data and Methods (directed by Prof. Peter Selb and Prof. Susumu Shikano) for advancing methodological insights in computational social science, social media analysis as well as experimental and survey research. The Psycholinguistics Lab (directed by Prof. Tanja Kupisch for supporting techniques such as eye-tracking and other online and offline measures. The Computational Linguistics Lab (directed by Prof. Miriam Butt) for operationalising deep linguistic insights for automated text processing. And the iScience Group (directed by Prof. Ulf-Dietrich Reips) for providing infrastructure and methodological expertise for Internet-based data collection and behavioural experiments.
The presentation will take place on Zoom, all Cluster members will receive a link by email. No registration is needed.
