Speaker:
This event is part of an event series „Cluster Training“.
Doctoral students have a variety of tasks and have to manage different expectations. This can be intimidating, especially in the beginning. In this Roundtable, we want to take our time to talk about tips and tricks that help with organizing your dissertation and your life as a Ph.D. We will invite several researchers of the Cluster who will share their experiences and will give an answer to the question of what they would have liked to know when they started with their own Ph.D. One aspect we will go into detail are the tools and techniques people use. Another aspect is the so-called hidden curriculum that is important for success in academia.
Please join us if you are at the beginning of your Ph.D., if you are generally interested in an exchange of ideas for a successful dissertation or if you have advice you can share.
The event will take place in a hybrid-format in Y213. A Zoom link will be sent to all Cluster members and everyone registered shortly before the event.
