Isaacson, Summer

Summer Isaacson is a Doctoral Researcher at the Cluster of Excellence "The Politics of Inequality" at the University of Konstanz.

Project:

• "Climate Inequalities in the Global South: from Perceptions to Protest"

Summer studied at Uppsala University in Sweden, earning a Bachelor's in Peace and Development Studies and a Master's degree in Political Science. During 2022, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Gothenburg's Centre for Collective Action Research, conducting a MASEM on Public acceptance of climate policies. Before this, she was a research assistant at the democracy research institute International IDEA in Stockholm.

Research interests:

• environmental politics
• political psychology/behavior
• rights of marginalized groups

Summer's dissertation will be on these topics, investigating how climate change relates to inequalities and behavior in developing countries.
