Second Konstanz School of Collective Behaviour a great success
Twenty young researchers from around the world gathered in Konstanz to participate in the second Konstanz School of Collective Behaviour. The school aimed to prepare the next generation of collective behaviour scientists.
“The Konstanz School of Collective Behaviour was a great success thanks to the outstanding students, excellent lecturers, dedicated tutors, and the extremely supportive organizational team at the Cluster of Excellence Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour,” says Ahmed El Hady, junior group leader at the Cluster of Excellence for Collective Behaviour and organizer of the school.
Over three weeks, 20 young researchers from 10 different countries learned various interdisciplinary approaches and methods for studying collective behaviour. In addition to lectures and tutorials from researchers at the Cluster of Excellence for Collective Behaviour and guest lecturers, the participants engaged in a journal club and worked on an own research project.
