Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship for Jeanine Grütter
Jeanine Grütter, professor at the Department of Empirical Educational Research at the University of Konstanz and group leader at the CASCB, received a Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship. The foundation announced the fellows for 2023-2025 on 22 November.
Jeanine Grütter’s research focuses on the question: How do positive peer relations develop in childhood and adolescence? “During my fellowship, I want to better understand how teachers can build on learner heterogeneity and promote social learning and social inclusion,” says Grütter. “I will develop new empirical methods which can create knowledge on how classroom dynamics evolve at different stages of development and how they can be shaped by adaptive teaching methods.”
The Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship Program aims to promote research on child and youth development.
