Migrating animals learn by experience

Research from the Cluster of Excellence Collective Behaviour (CASCB) at the University of Konstanz and the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior (MPI-AB) shows that migrating storks refine their behaviour as they get older, suggesting that experiential learning is an important part of successful migration.
