Many of you deal with research topics for which it can be beneficial using gigantic photographs and video recordings in lectures, publications, and in outreach projects.
But photography and filmmaking need to be learned (and can always be improved)! This is why we are offering a two-day workshop on 25-26 October (ca. 9am-5pm) with the nature filmmaker Robin Jähne. Further information and registration.
Some of you may remember Robin Jähne from when he recorded video footage here at the Cluster of Excellence in 2022 for the Terra X documentary Schlaue Schwärmer (Intelligent Swarms). It is a creative workshop that wants to encourage experimentation. Cross-disciplinary aspects of filming and photography will be addressed: The spectrum of topics will range from the technology to ecology, weather, aesthetic, and much more – Robin Jähne will also be happy to cover other topics you wish to learn about.
