Workshops for pupils: Hegau-Bodensee-Seminar

A component of outreach and knowledge transfer work that should not be underestimated is the dialogue with the researchers of tomorrow. Projects with schoolchildren are therefore particularly exciting, but they also require very detailed preparation in order to inspire them.

It is therefore extremely pleasing that CASCB researchers participated in the Hegau-Bodensee-Seminar since several years. The aim of the programme is to encourage new ideas among secondary school students from the Humboldt Gymnasium in Konstanz and beyond. Our researchers succeeded: “The workshop was very educational and got us excited about life sciences,” wrote participants of the 2023 course in a report.
